Folsom History
Description

Celebrating its 7th anniversary, the 2018 Historic Folsom Holiday Home Tour begins Friday December 7th and continues Saturday December 8th. The Home Tour will feature charming historic homes beautifully adorned for the holidays, historic churches, and the newly remodeled Folsom Hotel.

You’ll also find a wonderful art and hand-crafted holiday gift boutique at the Murer House, docents in period clothing and an opportunity to enjoy the season as you step back in time.

Folsom’s historic district dates from the mid-1800s and has numerous remarkable homes and buildings that evoke memories of times long gone by.  Whether you are a history buff, an architectural aficionado or just curious, the Folsom Historic Holiday Home Tour Committee knows you will enjoy the tour and “may visions of gingerbread dance in your head!”

Tickets will go on sale November 1st through December 8th and may be purchased at Bacchus House Bistro, Dorothea's, Folsom History Museum, Folsom Chamber of Commerce, Green Acres Nursery (Folsom, Roseville) Not Too Shabby, Raley's (Blue Ravine) and the Murer House. Tickets should be purchased early as attendance is limited. Tickets for the Holiday Homes Tour will be $20 each once they are released. Past tours have sold out in advance and we expect the same for this year’s much anticipated historic holiday event!

NOTE:  Each ticket is good for one (1) visit to each site.  All ages, including children, must have a ticket.  No exceptions.

Walking shoes are ESSENTIAL.  No cameras allowed in private residences!

The Historic Folsom Holiday Home Tour benefits the Folsom Historical Society and the Murer House Foundation and their efforts to preserve Folsom's unique history and charm.
